A quick solution to the rotated photo problem

Not sure why this was blank. I'm editing it to update it.

If you use our photo gallery here at BCP, navigate to the page of the photo you want and click the rotate buttons (L or R). It will instantly re-save it, but here's the thing—the URL to the photo may change. After you rotate, go back to the gallery and click the dark grey "chain link" button to copy the code+URL to the clipboard. Then paste in your forum post.

Thanks Zane, I went through my 170 project thread and fixed all the sideways pictures.

Re: A quick solution to the rotated photo problem

Just directed here after my first rotated photo posting in another thread.
My photo was taken with a camera, not a smartphone, but I think I may have rotated the camera.
When cut-and-pasting the photo URL to my posts, I always have to add to the beginning and end of the URL. Does everyone else have to do this every time, or am I doing else something wrong?

Zane, the post to correct a rotated photo is blank. Is there no solution to the problem?

I updated the original post. This covers one possible scenario. The key is to use the URL that the link button gives you in the gallery page, not the "Image URL" button. I need to update the functionality of that button.
