You'd sure think that with all the fires, & all the media coverage of the fires, and the smoky skies,
that people would be extra careful.
But unfortunately, it's not too hard to believe that you're probably right in that most of these fires are human caused.

They're trying to figure out the point of ignition of the Bridger Foothills fire near Bozeman. It started near a trail in dense forest. I wouldn't want to be the one that lit that one.....28 high end homes burned. Fortunately, no people were killed, though some livestock perished.
But, they keep lighting them. We haven't had any lightning for a while here, so all the fires around here are likely human caused.
