Neat picture of all the structure that is added. Are you actually thinking of floats or is it to just make it stronger for the turbine?

The Wipline firewall fittings and added structure for them are just for them. Ill be putting on 3450As. The Turbine mod is overbuilt as it is.

Finally got this thing in the air.
At 3800# gross, 10,500ft 144ktas, 30gph. 17,500 164ktas 30gph. As the fuel burned off the speeds picked up to 145ktas and 166ktas.

The other advantAge of the Wip firewall mod and seaplane kit is it increases GW to 3800, an important feature for a fuel hungry engine.

Re: Added Wipline firewall float fittings

My G model was not a Turbo so the GW didnt increase to the 3795?lb with the 3450As / firewall fittings. I have the Flints and that gives me the 3800 and the extra fuel it needs. I dont plan on doing rough water ops with fuel in the tip tanks.

This was only at 3350 lbs.

I was wondering what Turbo 206 Amphib drivers flight planned. Alt, TAS, FF?

This is just under 3700# . Fast current and a bridge close down stream so had to take off into the current.

Re: Added Wipline firewall float fittings

Ive got some time under my belt now with the Amphib PT6 206. I am really enjoying the performance. Makes life much easier that the 180 with a tired O-470. Its noisier than the 180 during docking but it is nice to be able to back up. The Pitch locks are working out but when beaching nose in you have to wait for the prop to spin down before you can jump off the nose of the floats. So Ive had to go sideways into deeper water, around the nose, up the shore with the rope. Taking friends to the lake during this heat, the power has allowed us to jump up to alt where it is cool and get some TAS. Wife was in the back and is now approving the budget for Air Conditioning. Do AC units in Cessnas push that much cold air?

Right, the F model 206 I flew had the firewall beef up and an IO 550, which combination afforded the 3800 GW.

The 3450 floats are great floats on the 206, no doubt.
