AeroCommander HELP!!!

I am in need of contact info for someone I can rent an Aero Commander from, for a flight from SoCal to Boston and back. I will probably be logging somewhere near 50hrs for the flight.

Anyone know anyone with an Aero Commander they will rent!!!

Thanks,
James

Will a 690 work?
Might be able to do a 30 day lease if your current ATP and have 1500hrs in 690

There's an Aero Commander Lark at our home field, but chances are that's not the kind of Aero Commander you're thinking of :)

I know a guy with an Aerostar if you feel the need for speed... but I have no idea if he would even rent it, or if you would have to be at the skill level of Tony LeVier to qualify for his insurance.

No idea at all... I only mentioned it because he's the only guy I know with an Aerostar. I will ask him next time we speak, but please do not make any plans or give up any other opportunities based on this... right now this is just a needle in a haystack and me thinking out loud.

I fly with a guy that has an aerostar that is for sale. I have no idea if he would rent it. It is based at KOTH. I can get you a contact if interested.

If I rent out my 182, the insurance is not in effect at that time.

Thanks for the responses guys!

I am looking for something based out of So Cal if possible.

As of now I have a Seneca set for the trip, however something a little quicker, or if possible a Aero Commander would be preferred, if I could find one.

Re: AeroCommander HELP!!!

You might check with these guys. They have several Aero Commanders for lease. If you need it 50 hrs you might want to look into buying one and selling it when your done. I have seen them sell for what a good 172 would cost. Try globalplanesearch.com
