If you are a skier - you'll recognize this is a gondola to nowhere (MidVail) - but hey cool work nonetheless:

Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process...

With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).
Success has many fathers...... Failure is an orphan.
That is so cool how they can splice the wire ropes like that.

I had one of those sky cranes land at my place. They are bigger then you can imagine. 25 acres of corn in new tassel was flattened as he taxied down the strip. Thank goodness, the corn stood back up. There was no question on whether it got pollinated. The pilot said it burned 550 gal/hr. How'd you like to pay that tab??

Cool footage of the sky crane in action. Talk about precision.
