Changing plans.
I'm fixing to sell the CH701 kit and am better than 50% sure it will go this weekend. I'm going to buy an already built airplane from somebody someplace.
There is a Rans S6ES located at 7G8 Geauga County near Cleveland Ohio that has caught my eye. Another fellow here has asked lots of questions about it but apparently has not made his move, so I'm on the hunt. I wrote Swingle about it and he's putting me on to an IA to take a look.
For a variety of reasons, not the least of which I fell off a ladder at the end of January and broke my back, I don't think I want to fly the thing back here on my own. I'm not sure I can sit for the kind of time needed for a cross country of that length. Etc.
So, does anyone have experience with a ferry pilot or organization of same that they trust? There are lots of people out there doing this sort of thing and some of them are fools; or so I've been told.
I'm also looking at a flying CH701 in Nampa that I can get home on my own. We'll see.
