I am currently assigned to a job here in East Tennessee (Oak Ridge / Knoxville area) for the next year. Looking for a good recommendation for a mechanic in the area for my C-182B. No issues right now, just planning for the future and the next scheduled annual. Any ideas??

THANKS I really would appreciate that. Although GA is not booming anywhere, I am amazed how different the GA culture is back east. If I would have asked this question for anywhere in the west I would already have ten recomendations. The few people I have met back here have been awesome, but the GA airports are pretty dead. Very sad

I noticed the same thing. Arriving at a small airport in some parts near there is like arriving at a morgue, with ramp mummies in every direction.
