Airplanes suffer fashion changes just like clothing... Extended, drooped wings used to be the hot tip, and nowadays anyone who has a cub with droops is itching to remove them. Most extension / droops had you fab a plywood tip rib to screw the new tip to as the outboard wing shape changed.
Finding a tip rib from a removed set up shouldn't be too tough, and then a little creativity and you can have your own personalized wall hangar.... I am challenged in the 'artwork' department, but this tip rib came off my cub when I went from Hot tips to Dakotas. Although in my case the only reason I ditched the tip rib was to replace it with a stamped rib for weight reduction. This one now lives in my office and houses my 'weather station' :
I have no idea if the mate is still in my hangar, but can check if such a thing works for you.
Take care, Rob
