Airframes Alaska = AWESOME

So being a little bit of a cheap ass I ran my old tail/baby bush tire so far down to the chords on both sides it was finally time to pony up for a new one earlier this season. This thing was cut up and worn so badly it was starting to look like I'd run over a squirrel wearing a potato sack poncho but never had one issue or even lost pressure out of it.

So after putting the new one on I went out flying to my favorite rocky bar I hadn't been in awhile. Did a couple of landings, last landing came in tail too low and dragged the tail through the rough. The wheel was already pretty dinged up so I kinda new when I heard a bang I might have an issue. Smashed up the wheel and punctured a brand new tire with a total of 2hrs on it, great!

Emailed the boys at Airframes, explained and was wondering if they could repair it or send me another. Without asking these guys sent me a new tire at cost, a great price on a couple of wheel halves and a couple of sleeves and bolt I needed free. Little more than two days later, I'm bolting up a new set up for a lot cheaper than expected.

I buy a little bit of stuff from these guys but still just a private flyer so jack in the grand scheme and these guys looked after me like absolute gold. You just don't get that kind of service very often. Not only are ABW's the single best bang for buck modification you can do to your ride they are just plain awesome to deal with. So if you're thinking of bush tires or parts give these guys a call and support the one company that provides us with what we need to fly where we like to fly, an extremely quality product and does it all with a genuine smile and flawless customer service!

Wow! Look at that background, that is beautiful. Where is this? Almost looks like a Bob Ross painting with a picture of a guy and his plane photoshopped in.
For those to young to remember Bob Ross - Guy with 70's afro that painted nature scenes on PBS - Joy of Painting.

Not far from Vancouver in BC, most of West Coast BC looks like a Bob Ross painting, lucky for us, never get tired of it.

As a relatively new member of the Airframes Alaska team, it is a pretty awesome feeling to pop into a forum and see something like this! The aviation community, especially the back country group, is a pretty small and tight nit group. In my time so far at Airframes I have seen firsthand how they take care of their customers. Any business nowadays has their work cut out for them when it comes to customer service, so to see feedback like this really makes it worthwhile! I passed this along to the rest of the team and it made all of our day! Thanks!

Ah that's great, I'm glad you passed in on, give everyone a pat on the back for us! Just can't say enough good things about the products and service, just really does make for a very loyal customer base, not an easy business to be in either!

Now about your employee discount on 35"s!

Agreed, Airframe's "gets it" when it comes to customer service. I recently purchase a baby bushwheel kit for my 185. On the trip to Montana the tire developed a leak but with no sign of a thorn or puncture. I put Notubes in it and that slowed but didn't stop the leak. Without pause Airframe's shipped me a new baby bushwheel that day. Nice work.
