Airplane Appraisers near Soldotna
Owning an aircraft has many special considerations like financing, taxes, inspections, registration, and even partnerships. You can post questions on buying and selling procedure. Please post type-specific questions and topics in the
Types forum.
Does anyone know a good appraiser they recommend near Soldotna? I need one to finish my loan paperwork. They must be able to travel to the plane.

Depends who you're trying to finance through. Mine was akusa and they are super picky. I had mine done In the valley so I can't help. The list of appraisers in Alaska is really small so you might have a hard time.

That's funny I had no problems with akusa and had a mechanic friend do the appraisal for me.
If you want a certified appraisal you will only have a few choices. Alaskaaircraftsales the Zerkles.
I'm not sure but I think these guys do it as well akacg.com
Also have used Robert Hackmann the last few times but can't seem to find his number.

Keenan Zerkle at AK Aircraft Sales is a solid dude. Last I knew, he has a pretty crazy schedule with his ANG duties, but it's been several years since I've talked with him.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
I sent a request through to AK Aircraft Sales. Thanks for the help!
I'll also call the bank about a mechanic doing it.

Today they said it had to be a licensed individual. So I asked if an FAA licensed A&P or IA would be suitable and they said yes. So that opened a lot of options.
