airport cafe Portland area

Are there any cafe's on airport in the Portland area. Or any that have a short walk to a place to get a bite? Would even go up the Columbia a ways.

Mulino has a restaurant on the east side of the airport, there used to be a grass taxiway to park next to it but I haven't been there in years. Independence has a restaurant on the field. Hood River has a courtesy car and there's several restaurants and breweries in town. Woodland has a few restaurants a short walk to the north of the airport. I'm sure others will chime in with more.

what Rob56 said. I used their courtesy car myself once. Nice place. Lots of choices a short drive to town. Plus, I haven't been there yet, but I hear they have a stellar aviation museum on site.

I was at Mulino a few months back. The restaurant is a Mexican joint now. It was good. They were running Jump operations at the airport then, I assume they still are, and not allowing taxiing to the restaurant. It's a short walk from the tie downs and the restaurant was offering a 10% discount to pilots.

I would recommend the old standby... Tad's Chicken & Dumplings in Troutdale.

Long walk from the airport. Is there a courtesy car.
