Is it generally ok to pitch a tent under my wing if I am parked in transient parking at most airports or is it more advised to walk over to the parking lot? I am going to Seward on Tuesday and will be staying the night there, but don't want to call ahead and be told no or walk to the camping area. Thanks for input!

I've done it before. I say just go for it, I doubt anyone will care, especially in Alaska.

A tent in Alaska does not draw much attention. Unlike the lower 48 where the TSA might come and sleep with you.

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
