There will be an Airport Open House & Fly In on Saturday 07 September 0800-1600. The Open House will have a variety of aircraft on display, antique, WW II and Korea War aircraft, classic, modern GA and corporate jets. Backcountry Supercubs is scheduled to be in attendance, as well as many aviation organizations. There will be a "Beauty Paegnet" for the Fly In aircraft, door prizes for pilots, awards for 'youngest', 'oldest', 'farthest distance flown', etc. There will be a Kids Zone with interactive games and toys, and the Sheridan Pilots' Association will be offering free airplane rides for the children. After the Open House & Fly In the city of Sheridan is having their Annual Brew Fest. For overnighters tiedowns are free, and reduced rooms are available at the Holiday Inn (307)672-8931 and the Mill Inn (307)672-6401, ask for the "Sheridan Pilots' Association rate".
