Airport Work Parties

Fellow Aviators,

Check the Idaho Aviation Association website (www.flyidaho.org/)calender on upcoming events where there are numerous upcoming airport work parties listed. Not only are work parties benefical to our precious airstrips, they are also a great excuse to throw the camping gear in the bird and enjoy an evening in the backcountry with other aviators.

Idaho Supercub,

Thanks for the post that IAA has finally got the work party schedule up. We had so much fun at Big Creek last year we're going to try to make it again, and maybe some others.

Jerry checked me out on the Propane cannon, and I hadn't had so much fun since I was a bloodthirsty little teenager! I just wish the Forest Service would let us use it at Chamberlain.

Best,

Bring it anyway, it should be a good tool for removing "rodents".

Well, actually it belongs to Idaho Division of Aeronautics as I understood Jerry, and he's the only one they'll lend it to under strict supervision. It is very effective on rodents, at least the ones of that generation.
