I suggest opening the link above and watching the 720p version full screen. Or, be lazy and watch here in the tiny window:

This one isn't too shabby either:

That second one was done by a friend of mine...

Once again the best video recap award (in my opinion) goes to Wes Perkins - aka -"Slick"

Re: Airventure 2010 video recap

Fantastic! Great video recaps, thank you to all the people who made them. EAA Oshkosh / Airventure is truly a big winner for all involved.

EAA is not a perfect organization, EAA's leadership is not mistake-free, and EAA's "mission creep" since Paul retired has been the subject of some heated discussion. I'm as pissed off about a $3.25 cup of flat soda and $39 T-shirts as anyone.

BUT... EAA has done more for private aviation than all the other efforts combined IMHO, and if anything saves private flying from the abyss we're now facing it will be in large part due to EAA's efforts. Oshkosh/Airventure demonstrates this time and time again.

Oshkosh was and always is a spectacular event which is run exceptionally well. As shown so well in these videos, it puts aviation in a great light for the public. I humbly urge all pilots to support EAA and be a member of a local chapter as well as the national org. even if you have complaints or differences of opinion with someone or something in EAA . We have the ability to build and fly our own airplanes, even in this horrible liability/political/media jungle today, largely due to EAA's efforts. Please support this organization, participate in Oshkosh, participate in Young Eagles, and help ourselves have a future.

Bill, I agree with all you said. As bad as the EAA is getting it did not stop me from signing up for a lifetime membership.

Seaplanes from Oshkosh

Here you go check out some of our fun we had at the water side of Oshkosh. It was a great time with lots of good flying weather.

Re: Airventure 2010 video recap

Nice video! Love the section with all the DC-3's!

There are several helicopters that can roll & loop, Eurocopter lynx & apache are a few. They have a rigid-rotor system, without the usual lead/lag/droop hinges found on most.
