Re: AK Summer 12' Planning

Looking for some guidance with Anchorage area Gun Shops, you know, "just incase we need something", lol!

What shop would you use to ship hand guns back and forth from Oregon?

AK Summer 12' Planning

I'm a little bit north in Wasilla. Let me know if you want to do lunch or drinks. If you need any suggestions for flying, food, etc I'm also happy to help!

Brent, I was in Dawson City when you called...sorry ...when are you planning on making your way south? The snowbirds and F-18's have their show here tomorrow afternoon, cheers, J-M

No worries. Saw the snowbirds practicing at Northway when we went through there.
Airplane is staying in anchorage and we are flying home commercial on Sunday.

Re: AK Summer 12' Planning

Had a great trip up to and around AK. I left the airplane at Merrill Field and flew home via Alaska Air yesterday with the family. Jake is going to be up there a few more days and then start heading for home mid/late week.

Thank you to everyone that pm'd/emailed/called to give advice, it really added to the trip. My wife and I decided that next time we go up, we are not going to make any plans and just see what comes up. We had multiple people come up and offer cabins etc. everywhere we went!

I'll put some pictures up and a TR at some point.
