Alabama Tornados

Super sad for the loss of life in the Alabama tornados. Weather can be so amazing and yet devastating at the same time.
I post this just to show what happened to the airport in Eufaula Alabama. All of this stuff can be replaced.

Unbelievable. That is some incredible force of nature. Very sad all the way around.

Just looking at those pictures, and thinking of what the cleanup is going to involve, all that twisted metal, it's going to be dangerous work and a lot of it. Nothing worse then demo type work, lots of energy in a twisted beam.....I can relate as if I was in that area I'd be busy craning up the mess.

I agree. I have built a few steel hangars and know how much torque is required on the connection points. Just moving that stuff could release a piece and send it flying. All the metal siding fluttering like paper. Scary.
