Alaska IFR Adventure

I am thinking about taking a instrument course through Morey's West Coast Adventures, and wanted to k JM ow has anyone else up here done this and if so what was your experience like? Are there any other recommendations?

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
I know some people who have done these with Field Morey. They all thought these were great programs and the training was first rate. Field Morey has an airport named after him in Wisconsin (and maybe his dad), Morey Field outside Madison. I know many people who have flown with him and from all I have heard only great things.

Field Morey has a great reputation from what I hear. I got my license last year at Morey Field in Middleton, Wi flying with his son who still operates there. If I decided to go IFR I'll likely go that route. No first-hand experience though but I'd like to hear more about it. I know when they only need one or two pilots they may give a discount to fill the spot; I've seen it advertised at Morey's.
