Alaska is BIG

I knew that Alaska was big, but after flying to Platinum this weekend, it’s really big.

Lake Clark is beautiful. Really beautiful, I can’t explain it, but here is my terrible attempt to capture it:

Re: Alaska is BIG

Yes, as everyone knows, if Alaska were divided into two equal sized states, Texas would then be the third largest state.

Enjoy the trip. You’ll increase the population of Platinum by what—-10%?

Re: Alaska is BIG

No, not 10%. About 1.5%.

When I got here Mark didn’t have a tie down, so he breaks out an excavator and proceeds to bury two pieces of metal with chains welded to them.

Re: Alaska is BIG

It has to be fun to be an Alaskan and rub the state's size up against a Texan! I did not know though that stat about it being more then twice as big  This map of the "United States" pretty much says it all.
