These web cams are some of the most important nav aids that we have up here in Alaska. Even our flight service stations check them as part of their weather briefings. They save a lot of "I'll go take a look" flights that can lead to scud running and bad decisions.

Here's a slightly different view -- a nice list of all the AK cams. I wish the FAA would put a little of our money toward something official like this in the Lower 48.
