AME Recomendations - TWF, SLC, RNO, or BOI

Unfortunately the local AME passed away last summer . He was the only AME within 200 miles of here. Since Salt Lake City, UT, Boise, ID, and Reno, NV are all about the same distance from here (within 300 miles or less) with Twin Falls, ID being only about 200. I'm interested in AME recommendations in those areas. My 3rd class is up in February so maybe I can combine trips if I plan ahead and schedule an appointment soon. I've always had the best rapport with AME's that are also pilots although that is not a requirement.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Blackrock

Some guys have used Dr. Higginbotham in Boise. I've used him, too.

His office is on Emerald just north of the Boise Town Square (mall).

Dr. Archuleta in Salt Lake is great. She works in the office with Swithin Chandler (retired but shows up to work everyday). She was very good on my last medical.

Dr. Fortuin in Twin Falls. His office is in the hospital clinic on Poleline Road, just a few minutes from the airport (if you get the good airport car from Reeder.) Nice guy. 182 driver. We spent most of our time telling stories. (208) 814-8600.

That may just seal it right there, Kevin. She removed her ring too, I hope!

Ha. I used to go to Rose Paiva in Reno. She wanted nothing to do with anything in my pants. Super breezy exam.

If your AME is checking your prostate I hope he's sending you flowers first and another thing, if he has both hands on your shoulders, well just saying.
