Anchorage plane rentals

Just got suprised with tickets to fly up for the start of the Iditarod, so i guess i'll get to see if Mackey can make it three-in-a-row!

When we lived in Alaska, i have flown the Anchorage area and bought fuel there, but never had the occasion to rent, but this time, since i won't have my plane, was wondering if any of you Alaska flyers have any experience with any of the FBO's that rent planes in the Anchorage area.

While i'll be thrilled to be back, it will be a major bummer to not get to do any flying while i'm there.

Aerotech on Merrill Field has 150s, 172s, and a 210 RG. Richard "Dick" Ardaiz is a gentleman- He's been around long enough to have given checkrides to generations of Alaska airmen.

They have fuel right on their ramp.

Thanks i'll give them a call. I've bought fuel there since they were always one of the cheapest on Merril.
