The folks at Animas Airpark (FAA 00C) are hosting a fly-in/pig roast Oct 18-20. Animas is located in Durango, CO (SW corner of the state). Privately owned, public use airport, runway is 01-19 and 5,000x50. Self serve or truck fuel service is available. Primitive camping is available as well as several hotels close by in town in Durango. Pancake breakfast, Pig roast, live music and some good desert/mountain flying. Porta-johns will be supplied along with a bathroom or two in hangars. There is an attached page with more info. Not sure the word got out but the event got cancelled last weekend with the low weather. It got pushed and folks will be at the airport 10/26 for pancakes a pig roast and camping. Music / bands in the evening.
