ANNOUNCEMENT: 2008 NW Supercub fly-in & STOL contest

I wanted to spread the word around a bit. This will be the 5th year for the fly-in. Our goal this year is to have a well organized STOL competition showcasing some of the best pilots and aircraft from the NW and beyond. It is a 3 day event JUNE 27th - 29th and everyone is welcome. It's called the NW Supercub fly-in because it is hosted by the western WA group of Supercub.org members and is tailored to grass roots type flying.

Hey all you other "off brand" guys: don't worry, they'll still let you in, even if you fly a brand C airplane like I do-- but be prepared to take some good-natured kidding about it. I plan on going with my new C150/150TD, I attended the last 2 years in my 170 & had a real good time.
Bill, Jason, and company do a great job organizing this event every year. There will be some "world class" (or Valdez anyway) competitors in the STOL contests and a whole lot of nice airplanes, so don't miss it. It's in Snohomish WA, just north of Seattle.

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!

If you attend, you may end up scratching your head asking "it seems like there was something else going on this weekend too..."

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Between this real neat event and BCP JC fly in it would be JC hands down. Having said that, my daughter and four of my grandchildren are coming down that weekend from Everett WA. So JC is out for me. Boo.

Because of their schedules, it is set in stone. Well my wife may have somthing to do with it also.

Tim, thanks your pigs are the best. Don't know if I should ask what you feed them, especially after watching Deadwood on HBO, but yours are the best I've ever had. Thanks again.
