Another I Passed Thred

Hey Guys and Gals,
I just wanted you all to know that I passed my PPL checkride today!

I'm pretty excited. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to fly. After we finished the oral exam the winds were 340 18 gusting 27. We sat around for 30 minutes and the winds died down to 350 14G20. Since they died down we decided to go for it. Everything went well and I was handed my temporary certificate! Can't wait to use it

Have a great day!

Congratulations on a well deserved certificate!
Although you may accumulate other certificates and ratings, you will always remember today the most.

Congrats!!! But remember, your not done learning! The day you do stop learning, is the day you should stop flying!
Have fun!

Tyler Adams, aka Chosstronaut, perished in a mid-air collision October 12, 2014. He was an enthusiastic and beloved contributor and he will be missed greatly.
Thanks everyone! I just started reading Stick and Rudder today now that I'm not buried in the study questions. It's a great book and I'd recommend it to everyone!

Congratulations! Wolfgang knew what he was talking about; things that are not in the PTS. Now that you don't have to worry about plus or minus five degrees/one hundred feet, etc., get your head out of the cockpit and learn to pay attention to "what the airplane wants to do." (WL) Talk to Rob, MTV, Cary, and many others on this site. Ask questions. Examine possibilities.
