Anti Gravity Battery

I had the opportunity to really test out my XP-10 Micro Start Anti Gravity Battery today. A friend of mine has a 182 with the 470 in it and it has gone sour. The mechanic wanted to turn the motor over to do some tests but the battery was almost dead. We could have hooked up jumper cables but I offered to use my kit. When I pulled it out everyone laughed(I'm talking battery here!) and said that's just a toy it won't do anything with this big motor. Well after turning the motor over for about 100 revolutions total at a very good speed and without going into boost mode we only used 2 of the 5 bars of power = 40%. We were all duly impressed. The mechanic laughed and said it was a good thing we did not use boost power, he said it would probably twist the crank. That little package of energy kicks ass.

Re: Anti Gravity Battery

that technology is amazing. we have started everything from 4 wheelers to semi's on the one we bought. I always have one in the plane or on the boat.

Re: Anti Gravity Battery

How many amps is yours Ken? I habe a 900 and it swung my 0-470 with heavy 3 blade hartzell on it no problem as well. Then my buddies 182 needed it a few times while ferrying it to a mechanic. Needless to say I'm very impressed and keep it in whichever vehicle I am travelling in.

Re: Anti Gravity Battery

Where did you guys buy the units? Bunch of posts on Amazon stating all the sellers on there are sell fake products that are defective and dangerous. Would like to try one on a remote camping trip, but can't afford to have it not work.

Got mine at the local auto parts store. You say you want to use it for a camping trip? For what purpose? FWIW, charging a phone with it seems to draw more out of mine then boosting the plane.

Re: Anti Gravity Battery

I have to use a CPAP machine and I generally take a sealed ATV battery, which will run the CPAP two nights in warm weather. In cold weather, it has to be charged every day. But will also use it for charging a camera battery.

I bought a Spirit branded unit off of Amazon. I've jumped a Subaru off it about 4 times. It works great. Haven't had to jump the plane with it yet, though.
