Any active pilots around Bremerton/KPWT?

Hi Folks and Happy New Year.

...My youngest son joined the Navy 2 1/2 years ago and after lots and lots of training, he is now stationed at Kitsap.
This Christmas was great as he was able to take some leave and come home. He had good stories to share with us and we sure enjoyed his company.
Mom is retired Navy and I am prior Air Force, so we 'get it' when he has to go back to work and do his job.
Jacob is a good kid. Smart 'with' common sense, and with some luck he'll go far.

He is also the one who likes to go flying with me when he's home.

This year was not good.....With the exception of Christmas Day the WX was crappy the entire time he was here and we never got the chance to go up.

Here's what's on my mind....
Jacob's exposure to aviation is growing and hopefully he is still impressionable enough to be swayed and possibly steered toward aviation as a he makes his way in this world.

What I'm wondering is if there is someone in the area to take him up once in a while and show him why we enjoy what we do.
He's laid back but quietly confident in his abilities. And limitations. He won't BS you if there's something he doesn't know.

So.... I leave it up to the BCP Community.

What do you think!

Very sincerely,
Kenny Monger

Chief Bottle Washer.

I'm retired USAF and live in Snohomish. I would be glad to take him flying in my C-170. Send me a PM with his info please.

Thank you for your Air Force service and thanks for the reply.
I'll give Jacob a heads up and then send you a P.M. with his contact info.
He'll be thrilled and I'll be more grateful than you know.

Thanks,
Kenny
