EAA will be doing a video piece on a particular aviation safety product. I have floated out the idea to them that the "field test" units for this product can be installed in 60 seconds with no holes or changes. This gives them the ability to get instant real-time product reviews from actual aircraft owners on video, with very little video crew time. If EAA likes this idea, we will only have to arrange 5 or 10 minutes of time with each aircraft. I've also floated the idea of having the owner take the airplane around the pattern a couple of times with an EAA camera operator. So you might get to be a gen-u-wine movie star test pilot too if you like.
The airplanes applicable to this possible video thing are:
Maule
Stinson 108
Pacer/Tri-Pacer
PA-28, PA-32, PA-34, PA-44
Beech 19/23/24
Cessna 170-185 with manual flaps
Speaking in the most Machiavellian, Barnum-ian, Popiel-ian, and Brown Nose-ian way possible... I strongly encourage that any interested aircraft owners choose to wear those stylish and tasteful BackcountryPilot.Org shirts and hats for your movie star on-camera appearance
