Any Mechanics Near Independance, Oregon?

Hey, I'm trying to help a buddy purchase an aircraft near Independance, Or. If any of you know a solid mechanic near that area who could perform a pre-purchase inspection on a Cherokee, please pass it along. I know many of you here live up in Oregon and figured you may have some good contacts.

Any info would be appreciated-

I've talked with Dave, and yes he is a nice guy/straight shooter.

He goes by "Dogsbody" here on BCP.

My AP/IA is at Madras, Oregon. He might fly to Independence. He flies one of those Indian named Pipers too.

Rob Berg 541.475.4899 tell him you know me.

Cheers

I've used Rick Brisby a really good mechanic at Corvallis Aero Service on the Corvallis Airport KCVO), about 20 miles to the south. He can be reached at the FBO, 541 753-4466. He does the annuals on my Super Cub, RV-8 and C-206. He knows his stuff! Phil
