Any tow pilots out there?

I have a question for any tow pilots out there: my glider club is trying to figure out the best way to mount a rear view mirror on the strut of a PA-18. We have a mirror inside, but no one likes it. If anyone here has ideas/pictures, I'd love to hear about your solutions. Thus far, from some other forums, people have suggested that a 4x6 mirror is a good size. I have also seen the Alaska CAP mirror setup, which looks good on a cessna 172...

Does anyone here have an opinion about mirror sizes, and whether or not a convex versus flat is better?

For those of you who have attached stuff to the outside of your planes before, is a 4x6 mirror on a strut anything to be concerned about in terms of drag?

Aircraft: I own nothing, but I belong to 2 clubs. So, I own pieces of a PA-18, PA28-161, PA28-181, cirrus SR20, ASK-21, SZD-51, SZD-50

Re: Any tow pilots out there?

In this day and age, why not use a rear mounted camera with an Ipad display in the cockpit?
