Anybody in South Dakota?

I swore I posted this yesterday but I'm not seeing it. I apologize if it shows up twice.

I'm stuck in Pierre, South Dakota and am trying to hitch a flight west to Rapid City/Black Hills. I'm dying to see Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, and then head to Wyoming and Alaska in September. South Dakota marks the 41st state I have hitchhiked to by general aviation! See JetHiking.com for more info but I began my journey in July of 2012 - yep, over a year ago! I'm blogging and writing a book about the adventure :)

Here is the latest news article about the project to give you an idea: http://www.argusleader.com/article/2013 ... y-airplane

If you know of anyone based in this area please let me know. I've been spending a lot of time at Mustang Aviation and there isn't much going on. [email protected].

Well I'm in South Dakota just north and west of Sioux Falls. However no plans of going to the hills until second week of Sept. You would probably be going insane in Pierre by that point. Good luck in your quest and have fun. I think it's cool when someone is willing to give up everything, to do something like you're doing.

Lol..Thanks Marty. I think I may have found a ride to Rapid City tomorrow and then I'm trying to get to Wyoming. So, that's progress!
