Here is a video of me going into Estacada in the day light. Notice the trees arounf the approach end. That can make it real interesting at night.

I heard about this on the news this morning too. A search of "Cessna P206" on the FAA website provides this, out of 4 registered P206's in the state of Oregon:

I scanned through the database but couldn't find him registered here.
Sad. I think it was clear over here last night, or at least a pretty high cloudbase. I agree though, it's dark out that way with few lights on the ground for reference.
