Anyone shopping for new shades?

Thought I’d drop this here

Been flying for a while and played with a ton of shades, from the Randolph’s because as a young pilot that’s what I thought was good, to spys, rayband, etc etc

So far these have been by far the best, they have a very nice amber/brown base color shade that outlines clouds very well, and also a polarization that works for LCDs, though I have found their normal polarization works just fine behind lots of the glass panels I fly behind.

Fit wise the aluminum frame is easy to “mold” and works great in headsets as well as helmets, being made in the US is nice.

No affiliation, but thought I’d share if anyone is shopping for some sunglasses.

This is the model I’m currently rocking, had their boxsters too, both great but the delta really hit the sweet spot IMO

Thanks for posting this. They are expensive but if you like them then I think I'll get a pair. Like you I fly behind lots of glass. One question again the polarized version still makes glass readable? That is great if that's the case.

Any bites on your beautiful 180? Hate to see you sell.

They’ve been good (and I just got the normal polarization) for aspens, g1000, gtn and Honeywell’s screens at least.

I’m keeping the 185, recently sold my S108 however.

Their customer care is pretty good too if you want to just ping them and confirm, I noticed they had a special tint for the LCDs after the fact, but for me it hasn’t been a issue, not sure if that’s my height and the angle I view things or something, or how the shades work YMMV
