Anybody close to NW Georgia?? Dalton, GA (KDNN) is having 2nd annual Taildragger Fly-In and Grass Strip Poker Run on April 28. Weather is gonna be perfect, lunch served about noon-ish ($5, and worth more!) Poker run starts about 9:30 with 3 great little grass strips close by -- $10 per person, high hand takes the pot. Lots of fun, lies told and listened to (as long as they're somewhat believable), good comraderie. We've got the word out to the Cessna 170, Maule, Cub, Cessna 120/140 folks and have sent announcements to about 40 regional airports, so we should have a good turnout. im up in burlington, NC flying a PA 22/20. Ill see if I can make it down. Sounds fun. I did a poker run last year. Drew all low cards and lost horribly but they are tons of fun!
