Wow. What a journey. Thanks for posting this. I'm headed up in the beginning of June together with our son, hoping to spend some time exploring the Brooks Range by air, and maybe ground if we can find a good spot to leave the plane for a few days. This was inspiring and very moving.

Didn't have time to watch the whole thing.....will pick up later. We called them "Back to the Earthers". That's the country I flew for twenty years..... I found it interesting she didn't mention place names, villages (except Fort Yukon, which would be hard to miss boating the Yukon), etc. Like they were being stealthy?

I knew her Dad, who is somewhat of a legend in Arctic Alaska.
