Arlington!

jmtgt and I are planning on meeting up for the weekend at the EAA Arlington fly-in this year. If any of ya'll are interested in joining us just sound off. We'll be meeting some of our Maule friends there, camping out, and otherwise just enjoying the event. It would be to fun get a group together to go out and paint the town red on Saturday night.

This is going to be our kick off for a week of fun in the northwest and anyone interested in joining us is welcome. The final destination will be Johnson Creek at the end of the following week for the obvious reasons, with intermediate stops at some other notable backcountry destinations.

We're ready for some fun, let's make a safari out of it!

The last Stinson I finished should be there.. it's the orange/blue one in my gallery. The guy that owns it is a real character, growing up in AK, and retiring from United as a 747 capt. He'd be glad to talk!!

hardtailjohn,

Send me a PM with that Stinson guys N number. We'll try to track him down when we're there.

Really like what you did with the panel in that plane, very nice.

Doug,

Thanks for the PM. Over the weekend, I'll sit down with a calendar and my co-pilot and see what we can work out. Sounds like fun...

We could also meet somewhere before lunch on Saturday, like say the Alaskan Bushwheels booth around 11:00AM? Otherwise, I think we'll be easy to find in the fly-in campground, but will we be home?
