DR,

That's very cool. Having done Coyote Flats I guess I'll have to check out White Mountains next. Wow, 15,000 D.A. is nothing to sneeze at. What kind of strip? Please don't tell me it's 800 feet of soft dirt... ;-)

White Mountain

It is just a small flat area (meadow) just south (about four miles) South of the research station at Mt. Barcroft. It's not very long but you depart to the South and you fall off the edge so the length doesn't really matter much. There is water there in the early summer and it's a great place to spend the night.
