Auburn, Ca breakfast run 25 Sep?

Flyengr and I are thinking about meeting up for breakfast in Auburn this sunday, anyone else in the area interested in joining us? Time is somewhat flexible, we can adjust based on who's interested. Great chow there and this ridiculous heat is supposed to break, the more that show the better the flying tales are likely to be, come on out!

I would go, but they are having an airshow at KRDD and I cannot get my airplane out of the hangar. Hopefully next time.

I'll be there taking a buddy's son for his first airplane ride!!!

What time do you think you might be there? It would be great to put a face to some of these names, and to see those 180's up close!

Looks like I'm in, bringing Mom along for her first flight with me...ever! As long as the fog breaks/isn't too low for us to get out early in the a.m.

Bump for a killer breakfast, looking forward to seeing whoever shows up. I'll be there at 9, probably won't be a line for a table outside then. Bad on me, I don't have a BCP shirt yet - look for a yellow Stearman hat.

Barring any unforseen disaster, will see you there! Looking forward to seeing your Skywagon Vick and meeting some new faces. Last check it appears the wx should cooperate, even if it might be a little bit wet.

Looks like I'm forced to sit this one out...found a silver dollar size hole in the underside of my horizontal stab this a.m...+1 for a thorough preflight...-1 for missing it on the post flight

Guess, I'll be learning a little bit of fabric repair this week...

Hopefully I'll have her back up for the TRK fly-in.

You better get that wing fixed!

Blowing 60+ now over the crest. Made the decision that I dont need to get my tail feathers kicked in this am. Really wanted to see the new bird Vick!

Great bfast with Flynengr, HarryV and some off boarders. Wild clouds with this front and some wind for sure. Afterward flew up toward Quincy, Nervino and circled down over Truckee. Thought about landing but looked like it was blowing pretty good down there, surfed up over the pass and enjoyed a 30Kt headwind back to home plate.

Re: Auburn, Ca breakfast run 25 Sep?

Vick: Good seeing you again and it was really great meeting some new people - HarryV, Matt, Mike and his family. Vick's 180 is the real deal and HarryV's Supercub is something else as well! HarryV thanks for dropping in on your way back from ID - I'm sure with the 35 mph groundspeed coming over the Sierra's you might as well have wanted to just get home.

Sorry we missed you AKTahoe and 260Driver, It was pretty marginal getting in this morning to KAUN. Lots of scud running up from the south.

Breakfast at Wings was awesome as usual.....We will have to do it again sometime! Hopefully we can all get together soon, maybe up at the Truckee event in a couple weeks.
