When flying from Weed to Salt Lake area, I frequently land at Delle, Utah for auto gas. It is a gas station/convenience store along I-80 about 60 miles east of Wendover. It is on the air chart that State of Utah puts out.

There is a strip behind this place and you just taxi to the pumps. Hot dogs are not to bad either.

Anybody else know of any other places like this or airports with auto fuel?

Wagontire used to be like that. Land and taxi across 395 to the pumps. Haven't been in there in years though.

Airnav will let you search for Mogas, but I think it's pretty rare.

Northway has mogas and it's only 5 bucks a gallon.

It's a little north of your route, but Denio Junction (E85) has a gas station you can taxi to. They sell regular and premium. Last year it was cash only. Don't know about recently.

Buhl Idaho has auto gas on the field.

Looked up Buhl, ID on Airnav. No FBO listed and no fuel listed. Where would you find the auto gas at Buhl.

It's been more than a year since I've been there, but Limon, CO (LIC) had a self-serve MOGAS pump right next to the 100LL one.

Sounds like Delle will be right along my route as I head to northern CA - any idea where I can find any other info about landing there for fuel? It doesn't show up on airnav.

It is not on Airnav but this link will get you close. Just select Delle from the data base. There is no flag or wind sock as of early last week. I just slow the plane down to about 70 mph and cross the runway at 90 deg and look for the direction that you drift.

Where in nor cal are you headed.

Moving to the Grass Valley area. I'm hoping to eventually find hangar space at the Nevada Country Airpark, but I have room lined up at Lincoln until I get settled in.

There is a pump just across the ramp from where the FBO should be. It is next to the 100LL pump. The local oil Co has the pump.

I am working in Brisbane Australia and will be home next week. I will get the information on the Oil Company and let you know.

Rome Station, Oregon has auto gas. It is a dirt strip at a service station / restaurant on Hwy 95 where it crosses the Owyhee River. Burns Jct, OR, just to the SW of Rome station also has a very short bumpy unmarked strip on the far side of the highway and people have taxied to the pumps. There is also a smooth ?forest service? strip there, but there is no access to the gas pumps b/c of fencing.
When I was last in Denio Jct a year and a half / two years ago, it was all closed up, looked permanent. Do you know the current status as Denio?
Picabo, Idaho just south of sun valley area has auto, but you have to transport it about 50-100 feet with cans. They put a couple barracades in after I pushed, not taxied, the plane up to the pumps, so I guess they didn't want me to do that.
