Aviation Books - Middle & High School Age

I'm familiar with the post on recommended aviation books but I wanted to possibly narrow that recommendation geared towards middle/high school students. My school wants to have a library in every classroom and are all for supporting my aviation passion and influence on my students. So fiction or non-fiction, I'm thinking anything that would inspire or further fuel the fire and passion for all things aviation.

Maybe all those recommendation in the other thread are appropriate but I would love to hear what you think.

Thanks

I may not have been the typical middle/high school student, but I really enjoyed the following: The Right Stuff, Yeager, Flight of the Intruder, Flight of Passage, The Cannibal Queen and a bunch of very dry history books on military aviation. Of that list Flight of Passage would be a great addition because the book is about kids around that age group doing some incredible things!

I appreciate your response. I'll add them to my list. Thanks

Coast to Coast by Betsy Byars. I'll second The Cannibal Queen by Stephen Coonts as one of my favorites.

All four of CloudDancer's books, for sure! Plenty of levity to keep the little urchins reading!
