AZ this spring Baja in the fall

The spousal unit wised up and booted me. As a result I'm in adventure flying mode. Planning AZ/UT camping as tuneups this spring with a follow on adventure to baja this fall. I'm looking for destinations primarily in AZ for this time of year. Red Creek is my favorite so far with the river right there. Any others with that kind of feel down there? Should have a crash pad in Salome shortly but its asphalt... I have the Fly Utah book and kinda know my way around that country. Looking for a few more BTU's to melt some of the snow off on weekends. Also probably join BBP but I like hanging out here and learning.

Thanks!

We were excited to heli in Silverton — until we saw the bird. Looking like something your stoner uncle built in the garage out of four Meccano sets, a fish tank, and an AMC Pacer, this helicopter seats a pilot plus two only, making it a tricky vehicle, logistics-wise, when your group has 8 people in it. Aids big time. And the bank still owns most of the bird, she decided she liked the paid off house better. #-o Like you said bright side to everything, I live less than 100 yards from the hangar now.
