I first found out about Clarence "Stearnie" Stearns with an announcement over the summer in the completions section of either Kitplanes or Sport Aviation (can't recall)...but he had just finished building a Bushcaddy and doing the math on his age in my head, I thought ...this guy is in his late'80's or older and this is an amzing story. That prompted me to find out more about him and I went back and forth with his daughter Jana on finding info. All the WWII pics I found on the internet which is pretty amazing as well. Check him out:

Stearnie is a great guy. I have taken him flying in my Zenith 801. The guy is sharper then most 50 year olds.....
