B-25's

We fought the wind, and the wind won. I flew in the trees and got tossed around pretty good. Deb did not get sick, but both Greg's and Bill Tracy's passengers did not fair so well. The 696 had the winds at 3,000 at 60 mph. We went 100 miles in that to see these B-25's. Trip back was smooth at 5500 and still had that 60 mph push.

I don't think the ones my dad flew were quite that shiny.

Re: B-25's

What makes the B-25 so good was the landing gear configuration. :D

Got nothing to do with it. :D

Had an old guy that hung arround the airport that was a gunner on a B-25. Gone now and that is what is wrong with a lot of things. He was willing to put it all on the line and I am not sure that we have enough of those types in our current batch of texting youth.
