Back Country Flying

Folks,

The AOPA Air Safety Institute has been working with a number of backcountry flight oriented organizations on ways to help pilots new to backcountry flying gain some experience that may help them fly the mountains and back country safely.

They are hosting a webinar on the activities of this group on November 18th, at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. To sign up for this online forum, go to this link: https://register.gotowebinar.com/regist ... 3863907342

This group includes a VERY diverse collection of very experienced back country pilots. Please consider joining us there.

Sounds good. Personally I’m more into Slackcountry, it involves bigger tents, thicker sleeping pads, beer and good food. One or two words.

I've sent a note to management asking if the webinar will be recorded. I imagine it will be, but....will post a response when I receive it.

Nice, that's good. The time doesn't work out too well being in AK.
