Back home again

Holy cow BCP'ers, It's home... 10M is back in the nest.... It's been a long time coming. I flew it home this evening as the sun was settingl. Back to normal , well, almost..... :lol:

What happened at Columbia must have been traumatic for it to take that lone. Or is it like 32 ford highboy project. 30 years.

no I ground looped on roll out, it's all in another thread somwhere here. Repairs required cutting offf the fuselage forward of the gear attach points and welding on a whole new fuselage from Maule. Flies straighter now than before. It had been repaired in it's life before me and the repairs were not done correctly either, hense i always had to hold a little right rudder. I posted pix somewhere here too. I have to check my past posts to see where they are. but you can do that too. :D

Glad to hear you're getting back into the "groove" again Butch

Thanks Kurt, Went down to the hangar today and did a couple T&Go's but it's over 100 today and it got too hot to do them . Gettin ready for a trip to NY and gotta look for a new van at the same time so I guess flyin is on hold for a couple weeks except for Delta to NY. :shock:
