Backcountry Pilot on Twitter: Downtime updates

Like many of you, I don't have much use for microblogging, and usually turn my nose up at the mention of Twitter.

HOWEVER... it does have pretty strong value in the way of real-time reporting and communication.

We had a little network outage at the hosting company today, and I posted the status to Twitter within minutes of finding out. If BCP appears to be badly broken, and you're curious about why, or if it's just you, visit this page for updates:

BCP isn't life or death, but minutes can seem like hours when you're bored and it's raining outside.

Based on the panic attack I endured earlier today, I might argue with your claim that "BCP isn't life or death".

Thank you for this incredible forum.
