Fox 5 Vegas wrote:CRYSTAL, Nev. -- A man was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas after a small plane hit his truck near the town of Crystal.
Nye County officials said the pilot, 70-year-old Earl Griffin, was “buzzing” the driver when the plane flew too low and the landing gear struck the truck’s hood. It then crushed the roof of the vehicle.
Griffin made an emergency landing on a street.
The driver, 67-year-old David Smith, is recovering, although the extent of his injuries is unknown.
Police described the two men as friends but did not explain why Griffin flew so close to the truck. He has not been charged.
Crystal is a small, unincorporated town in Nye County, about 80 miles from Las Vegas.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.

Who buzzed a bunch of his buddies, who were drinking his beer in his hangar one dark summer's night.
