BAJA
Get together with other pilots or enthusiasts. Plan it or get info about it here.
It has been about a year and a half since I have flown to Baja. I think that the end of Sep or the first of Sep is a good time cus the air has cooled down a bit and the water is still warm. I am talking the Sea of Cortez about 1/3 the way down.
First night would be at Alfonsina's. You can get a room about 50 ft from where you park the plane or camp at Rancho Grande 2 miles south next to the plane. Alfonsina's is under water at high tide during full and new moons and a couple days either side. The two weekends on the poll are good weekends.
Second night or two at Punta San Francisquito. Then just play it by ear.
Any takers-passport required

Sorry I seem to be planeless at the moment thanks to my humbling incident at columbia. Repairs are starting to progress, however Mexico isn't in the Icemans future as you seem to know. Maule Georgia has been very helpful as has Jeremy as usual.
