Baja palate

We clambered out of Baja in a wild West wind, leaving behind some of the most surreal scenery that Mother Earth draws from her palate. Starkly jagged mountains, richly diverse cactus forests, wind sculpted canyons - spilling onto ancient sloping alluvial fans, and a sea of beaconing islands, all slipped behind our wings as our props pounded a path through turbulent Mexican skies. New additions to life's weight & balance sheet now include memories of serene sea side bedrolls and their star domed nights, fresh fish dinners, friendly folks, as well as the indifferent, and everywhere, people who's lives are witness to their spirit for adventure.
Course white beach sand falls from our clothing as we now make our way among norte americanos, and settle back into the home routines, with the dust of Baja ingrained in our shoes and on our souls.
Good travels, Berk

I'll be mailing off my 3 rolls of film asap. I'm still in the photographic stone-age. If I order a CD of 'em also, how do I put 'em up in a "gallery" form, with my profile? I really don't have a clue on how to do that.
And speaking of galleries, is the photo of the "dualies" at Moose Creek a photo-shop creation, or what? Wild.
Waiting for the rain to break, Berk

Look in the area of the forum under How To's and Tutorials. There are a few in there that discuss digital photo resizing, uploading photos and making gallery albums, as well as embedding the photos in posts.

The CD you get back will have all the digital photo files, plus a slideshow program that automatically runs when you insert the CD. Escape the slideshow program, and explore the CD itself. You can open it up in your Explorer window, and view the files as thumbnails. Upload the ones you want (but resize them first for best efficiency!)

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
