Well left BNO at 0630 up eat breakfast look around a bit and back at 0900. Smooth as glass flight, O-470 hummed right along.
Talked to a couple from Texas in a Commanche that had been in the Idaho back country. They we're enjoying the PNW.
The Baker Pilots Assoc. was doing a good job, Huckleberry hot cake, sausage, eggs, and some kind of orange drink stuff.
Overall a good use of time. One thing I did note on the flight is IMO there is a lot of dead and dying timber that needs harvested. In Oregon DR Johnson lumber has curtailed operations in 5 of their sawmills. Putting a lot of people on furlough, and they may not start up again.
See ya, Fly safe, Bub
